Arlington, VA, May 21, 2009 – WRAP Asia and SGS will host a series of seminars on labor and environmental compliance in five cities of China from June 9 to December 16, 2009.
The seminars are focused on how to establish and maintain a facility-based labor and environmental compliance program to satisfy buyer requirements. All seminars will cover an overview of WRAP background and principles, the process of WRAP certification, best practices of corporate social responsibility, and an overview of relevant local laws and regulations. Technical and quality managers, internal auditors, personnel who handle customer audits, certification body auditors and other interested parties are encouraged to attend these events.
The first seminar will be in Nanjing on June 9 and later take place in Shenzhen, Ningbo, Suzhou and Hangzhou. A SGS Project Leader and a WRAP Representative will instruct the seminars. Please see the list of all seminar dates below:
